7. Maintenance
Clean the rattan surfaces regularly using a soft brush or cloth and warm soapy water; avoid abrasive cleaners or high-pressure hoses which may damage the weave or dislodge fibres.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water after washing and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots or moisture build-up.
Clean the glass tabletop using a non-abrasive glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth. Ensure all spills or residues are removed promptly to prevent etching or staining.
Apply a small amount of lubricant to hinges and locks on the side table periodically to prevent corrosion and ensure smooth operation.
Inspect the aluminium frame regularly for signs of rust or corrosion (especially at joints or welds). If any corrosion is found, clean the affected area and apply an appropriate metal protector.
Store or cover the set using the supplied waterproof cover during extended periods of non-use or poor weather. Ensure the furniture is clean and fully dry before applying the cover to prevent mould and mildew.
Remove and store cushions indoors during wet or winter weather to extend their lifespan, even if the cover is in use.
Avoid placing hot items directly on the glass top or sitting/leaning heavily on it to prevent cracking or damage.
Do not drag the loungers or table when repositioning them—lift them carefully to avoid damaging the frame or flooring.
Check all fixings and joints every few months and tighten any loose bolts or fittings to maintain stability.
If any part becomes damaged or worn, discontinue use and contact the supplier for replacement components to avoid further risk of failure.
Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for cover cleaning—usually hand wash with mild detergent and air dry.
Store the set in a cool, dry, and ventilated place during winter if possible to prolong the product’s life.
