1. Maintenance
Wipe down all surfaces after each use with a clean, damp cloth to remove sweat, dirt, and debris; allow the product to fully air dry before storing.
Use a mild, non-abrasive detergent when deeper cleaning is required; avoid harsh chemicals or solvents that may degrade foam or rubber components.
Inspect the foam surface weekly for cracks, tears, or areas of compression that may affect performance or safety; replace the dummy section if significant damage is observed.
Check the rubber suction pads regularly for dust, dirt, or damage; clean them with water and a cloth to maintain optimal suction performance.
Inspect the base unit weekly to ensure it remains properly sealed and filled (if water- or sand-weighted); top up or refill as necessary according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Examine all adjustable height mechanisms weekly, ensuring they lock securely and move smoothly; apply silicone-based lubricant if parts begin to stiffen or squeak—never use oil-based lubricants.
Check for signs of loosening, corrosion, or wear on all moving and locking components; tighten any loose fittings and replace parts showing wear immediately.
Test the stability of the dummy before each use by gently pushing from different angles; if the dummy wobbles or moves, recheck suction pad adhesion and base fill level.
Store the dummy in a dry, cool indoor environment out of direct sunlight to prevent material degradation due to UV exposure or humidity.
Never leave the dummy outdoors or in damp environments (e.g. garages, sheds) where moisture may affect suction pad performance or lead to mould growth on foam surfaces.
Avoid stacking heavy items on top of the dummy during storage to prevent deforming the foam or damaging structural integrity.
Periodically (e.g. monthly), conduct a full safety inspection of all components using the original setup guide to confirm correct assembly and function.
Replace any components immediately if damage, excessive wear, or material fatigue is observed to maintain product safety and effectiveness.
Keep a record of all maintenance checks, including dates and actions taken, especially in commercial or shared-use environments.
Contact the manufacturer or authorised service provider for replacement parts or support if any components are no longer functioning as intended.
