Safe Working Practice

Please read through the Safe Working Practice to ensure prevention of injury or damage to the device.

• Only use the chimenea outdoors in a well-ventilated area; never use indoors or in enclosed spaces due to carbon monoxide or fire risk

• Place on a stable, flat, non-flammable surface such as concrete, stone or brick. Do not place on wood decking, grass, or flammable surfaces

• Keep at least 2 metres away from combustible materials like trees, fences, sheds, parasols or buildings

• Never place under low-hanging branches, canopies, awnings or roof overhangs

• Do not leave the chimenea unattended while in use or while hot

• Keep children, pets, and flammable items at least 2 metres away at all times

• Use only dry wood, charcoal, or coal. Never use flammable liquids like petrol, lighter fluid or alcohol

• Do not overload with fuel, as this may cause overheating, instability or damage

• Always remove the chimney cover before lighting to allow safe ventilation of smoke and gases

• Ensure the air vent remains clear during use for proper airflow

• Do not touch or move the chimenea until fully cooled. Use heat-resistant gloves and the provided tools

• Cast iron retains heat for hours. Treat all parts as hot until completely cooled

• Only cover or clean the chimenea once it has fully cooled

• Use the rain cover only when cold and dry to prevent rust or damage from trapped moisture

• Do not cook directly on flames. Use grill shelves and plate only over embers, with gloves and handles

• Ensure grill components are correctly positioned and stable before placing food

• Do not hang items or tools on the chimenea and do not modify the product

• Inspect regularly for corrosion, cracks or loose bolts. Do not use if damaged or unstable

• Check that all legs and fixings are secure before each use

• Clean only with a soft cloth. Do not use wire brushes or abrasives

• Apply suitable chimenea or cast iron oil as needed to protect against rust

• Do not use in rain or wet conditions. Only cover or store when fully dry and cool

• Store indoors or under shelter during winter or long periods of non-use

• Assemble on a flat surface following the manual instructions. Improper assembly may cause instability

• Do not use unauthorised parts or make alterations. This voids the warranty and can be hazardous

• Do not allow water to collect inside the chimenea. Empty before lighting fires

• Remove ash only when fully extinguished and cold. Dispose of in a non-combustible container

• This product is heavy. Lift using correct technique or with assistance. Do not drag across surfaces

• Do not overload the fire bowl or grill area. Excess weight may cause failure of support brackets

• Do not use during strong winds or severe weather that could spread embers or flames

• The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage or injury caused by misuse, unsafe handling, or product modifications

Assembly

1. Checking Parts

Ensure you have each part needed to assemble the Chimenea by checking against the provided parts list.
2. Attaching the Legs

Attach the 3 legs (1) to the base (2) using the screws (17) provided.
3. Securing the Brackets

Screw the 3 brackets (5) in place using three screws (17) and three nuts (18).
4. Installing the Air Vent

Attach the air vent (3) underneath the door frame indent in the base (2) on the right side, and then the air vent lock (4) on the left side, using the screws (17) and nuts (18) provided.
5. Placing the Cover Bowl

Place the cover bowl (6) on top of the base (2), and align the pre-made holes to line up with the remaining holes in the brackets. Use three screws (17) and three more nuts (18) to securely lock the cover in place.
6. Attaching the Handles

Attach the handles (7) to each side of the chimenea using screws (17).
7. Assembling the Coal Grate

Place the 2 coal grate parts (9) together at the bottom of the base (2).
8. Attaching the Mesh Door Frame

Attach the mesh door frame (8) to the cover bowl (6) by first screwing the door frame plate (11) in place using the screws (17) and nuts (18) provided. Then attach the mesh door frame (8) to the plate (11) by using the long screw (16) and the nut (19) provided.
9. Securing the Door Frame Lock

Screw the door frame lock (10) in place with the provided screws (17) and nuts (18).
10. Installing the Shelves and Grill

Inside the chimenea and above the coal grate, attach the shelves (20) on the right and left side, using the screws (17) and nuts (18). Proceed by placing the grill (21) between the shelves (20).
11. Assembling the Chimney

To complete the chimenea, connect the chimney base (12) to the cover bowl (6), and then connect the chimney (13) to the chimney base (12). Use the screws (15) and nuts (18) to attach these parts.
12. Placing the Chimney Cover

Place the chimney cover (14) on top of the assembled chimney.
Maintenance

13. Cleaning

To ensure the appearance of your chimenea, clean the surface with a soft cloth. Apply a chimenea surface oil with a rag if desired. Do not use a wire brush to clean the surface, as this may scratch or damage the surface material.
14. Storing

Cover the chimenea with its rain cover when not in use, to protect it against harsh weather conditions. Preferably, bring the chimenea inside over winter time. Please allow the chimenea to cool down completely before covering it with its rain cover.
15. Corrosion

Rusting may happen to all cast iron products. To avoid this as much as possible ensure the above storing measures are followed, and that the chimenea is not overfired. If corrosion has already happened, high temperature paints may be used to touch up the rusting on the chimenea.
