1. Body

Start with the feet.

Cast on 17 sts with white.

1 - 4. St st, start with a purl row.

Break yarn. Leave the work onto the needle.

Cast on 17 st with white onto the same needle.

1 – 4. St st, start with a purl row.
2. Casting on stitches with one thread

Wrap the yarn around your index finger and thumb. Pass the needle under the front thread. Then pass the needle from top to bottom under the back thread. Let the threads slide through your fingers. You have now cast on one stitch.
3. Continuation of the body

5. p2tog, p15, cast on 10 st and continue over the 1st foot, p15, p2tog (= 42 sts) (photo 1)

6. k2tog, k38, k2tog (= 40 sts)

7. p2tog, p36, p2tog (= 38 sts)

8. Cast off 5 sts, k27, cast off 5 sts (= 28 sts)

Break yarn.

Make a little skein of white yarn from approx. 5 grams to use with the color changes later on. Lay it aside.

Attach the white yarn again into the 1 stitch. (photo 2)

10. k5 with white, k18 with pink, k5 with white. Use the little skein for the last 5 sts, so you don't have to carry along the white thread with you at the back of your work.

Twist the yarns with every color change to avoid holes in your work.

4. Tail

Cast on 4 sts with pink.

1 - 25. St st, start with a purl row

Break yarn and draw tightly through sts.

Join seam. Stuff the tail and sew it onto the back.

Lay both parts of the body on top of each other and sew them together. For the neck opening, leave the middle 10 sts at the top free.
5. Head

Start at the back of the head.

Cast on 16 sts with white.
