Pattern for crocheting the Strawberry by Hardicraft. The strawberry is approximately 7 cm tall and is made with a 2.5 mm crochet hook.

1. Strawberry

Start at the bottom of the strawberry.

Ch 2 with red or start with a magic ring.

1. 6 sc into the 1st ch or into the magic ring, 1 sl into the 1st sc (= 6 sc)

2. 2 sc in every sc (= 12 sc)

3. 2 sc in every 2nd sc (= 18 sc)

4. 2 sc in every 6th sc (= 21 sc)

5. 2 sc in every 7th sc (= 24 sc)

6. 2 sc in every 8th sc (= 27 sc)

7. 2 sc in every 9th sc (= 30 sc)

8. 2 sc in every 10th sc (= 33 sc)

9. 2 sc in every 11th sc (= 36 sc)

10. 2 sc in every 12th sc (= 39 sc)

11. 2 sc in every 13th sc (= 42 sc)

12. - 15. 42 sc

16. Sc every 13th and 14th sc together (= 39 sc)

17. Sc every 12th and 13th sc together (= 36 sc)

Attach the safety eyes between round 11 and round 12, with 6 st between them.

18. 6 x (2 sc, sc 2 st together, 2 sc) (= 30 sc)

19. Sc every 4th and 5th sc together (= 24 sc)

20. 6 x (1 sc, sc 2 st together, 1 sc) (= 18 sc)

21. Sc every 2nd and 3rd sc together (= 12 sc)

Stuff the strawberry.

22. 6 x (sc 2 st together) (= 6 sc)

Fasten off.
2. Leaves

1. Ch 8 with green.

2. Into the 2nd ch from the needle: 1 sl, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl

Repeat steps 1 and 2 five times.
3. Finishing

Fasten off, thread the yarn end through the bottom part of the leaves and pull tight. Sew the leaves firmly onto the top part of the strawberry. Then sew the chain of the keyring firmly onto the middle of the leaves. Embroider with green a mouth between the eyes. Embroider with yellow little stripes scattered all over the entire strawberry (see picture).
