Pacifier Clip Moon

1. Crochet with pink 6 sc to the suspender clip as follows: Make a loop at the back of the suspender clip. Insert the crochet hook through the opening of the suspender clip. Draw the yarn through the opening towards you with the crochet hook and crochet 1 sl so that the yarn is attached to the suspender clip. Then crochet 6 sc, each time inserting the needle through the opening and wrapping the yarn around the bar of the suspender clip after each stitch. End with 1 turning chain. 

2. - 39. 6 sc

40. Sc 2 st together, 1 sc, ch 30 (for the loop), 1 sc, sc 2 st together, end with 1 sl. 

Fasten off and weave in the end.

The moon is crocheted in a spiral. Do not end the round with a sl, but continue with sc for the following round. In every unstated sc, 1 sc should be crocheted. 

Ch 2 with white or start with a magic ring. 

1. 6 sc in the 1st ch or in the magic ring, 1 sl in the 1st sc (= 6 sc)

2. 2 sc in every sc (= 12 sc)

3. 6 x (2 sc in 1 sc), 1 sc (= 18 sc)

4. 9 x (2 sc in 1 sc), 1 sc (= 27 sc)

5. 2 x (2 sc in 1 sc), 4 sc, 2 sc in 1 sc, 4 sc, 4 x (2 sc in 1 sc), 4 sc, 2 sc in 1 sc, 5 sc, 2 x (2 sc in 1 sc) (= 37 sc)

6. 2 x (2 sc in 1 sc), 8 x (1 sc in 1 sc, 2 sc in 1 sc), 2 sc in 1 sc, 9 x (1 sc in 1 sc, 2 sc in 1 sc) (= 57 sc)

7. 2 x (2 sc in 1 sc), 2 x (2 sc in 1 sc, 12 sc), 4 x (2 sc in 1 sc), 12 sc, 2 sc in 1 sc, 11 sc, 2 x (2 sc in 1 sc) (= 67 sc)

8. 2 x (2 sc in 1 sc), 30 sc, 4 x (2 sc in 1 sc), 29 sc, 2 x (2 sc in 1 sc) (= 75 sc)

End with 1 sl in the 1st sc.

Fasten off and leave a long yarn end.

Fold the moon in half and sew the sides together. Stuff the moon while sewing it closed.

Sew the moon onto the pacifier cord, on the side of the suspender clip.

Ch 2 with white or start with a magic ring.

1. 6 sc in the 1st ch or in the magic ring, 1 sl in the 1st sc (= 6 sc)

End with a sl in the 1st sc and fasten off.

Sew the nose onto the moon, on round 1.

Embroider with gray a small eye just above the middle of the moon, over round 4 till 7.

Ch 2 with pink or start with a magic ring.

1. 6 sc in the 1st ch or in the magic ring, 1 sl in the 1st sc (= 6 sc)

End with a sl in the 1st sc and fasten off.

Sew the cheek just below the center onto the moon, over round 5 and round 6.
