Mini Gingerbread Man

Ch 2 with light brown or start with a magic ring.

1. 6 sc into the 1st ch or into the magic ring, 1 sl into the 1st sc (= 6 sc)

2. 2 sc in every sc (= 12 sc)

3. 2 sc in every 2nd sc (= 18 sc)

4. 6 x (1 sc, 2 sc into the next sc, 1 sc) (= 24 sc)

5. - 8. 24 sc

9. 6 x (1 sc, sc 2 st together, 1 sc) (= 18 sc)

10. Sc every 2nd and 3rd sc together (= 12 sc)

Stuff the body.

11. 6 x (sc 2 st together) (= 6 sc)

12. 2 sc in every sc (= 12 sc)

13. 2 sc in every 2nd sc (= 18 sc)

14. 6 x (1 sc, 2 sc into the next sc, 1 sc) (= 24 sc)

15. 2 sc in every 4th sc (= 30 sc)

16. 6 x (2 sc, 2 sc into the next sc, 2 sc) (= 36 sc)

17. - 21. 36 sc

22. 6 x (2 sc, sc 2 st together, 2 sc) (= 30 sc)

Attach the safety eyes between round 18 and 19 with 8 st between them.

23. Sc every 4th and 5th sc together (= 24 sc)

24. 6 x (1 sc, sc 2 st together, 1 sc) (= 18 sc)

25. Sc every 2nd and 3rd sc together (= 12 sc)

Stuff the head.

26. 6 x (sc 2 st together) (= 6 sc)

Fasten off. Pull the yarn through the 6 remaining st and pull tight. Weave in the end.

Embroider with white a trim between round 5 and 6. Embroider with red a little mouth between round 17 and 18 between both eyes.

2. 2 sc in every sc (= 12 sc)

3. 2 sc in every 2nd sc (= 18 sc)

4. 6 x (1 sc, 2 sc into the next sc, 1 sc) (= 24 sc)

5. 2 sc in every 4th sc (= 30 sc)

6. 6 x (1 sl, 1 hdc, 1 tc, 1 hdc, 1 sl) (= 30 st)

Fasten off and sew the frosting on top of the head.

Ch 2 with red or start with a magic ring.

1. 6 sc into the 1st ch or into the magic ring, 1 sl into the 1st sc (= 6 sc)

2. 2 sc in every 2nd sc (= 9 sc)

3. 9 sc

Fasten off and leave a long yarn hanging. Sew the cherry on top of the frosting. Sew with red the two leaves onto the frosting next to the cherry. 

The bow is crocheted in rows. Ch 1 after each row and turn around.

Ch 13 with red.

1. 12 sc into the 2nd ch from the needle.

2. 12 sc

Fasten off and leave a long yarn hanging. Sew the ends of the bow onto each other. Press the bow together and wrap the yarn around the middle to create the bow. Sew the bow onto the gingerbread man with a few little stitches, just below the head.

Cut off a piece of yarn and pull it through the top part of the gingerbread man. Create a large loop so you can hang the gingerbread man into your Christmas tree.
